The Nordic Data Science Summit at glance
2 Stages: ● Data Science Stage
Focusing on the organisational
and business output of Data Science.
● Machine Learning and AI Stage

technical side of Data Science, Machine Learning,
Deep Learning and AI
Domestic and International speakers. All presentations
will last 30 minutes, and will be held in English.
Panels:
On recomendation of last year's delegates, on this 4 workshops.
edition we are adding mixed panels composed by
practitioners and experts. By mixing the panel, our
intent is to create a good discussion and a contrast
between what is possible and what is actually done
in organisations today. There will be four panels in
total all on different topics and each one addressing
a particular part of the summit theme.
Peer to Peer Meetings: To enable more insightful knowledge sharing
between peers and provide bigger event
experience, delegates this year will have the
opportunity to schedule meetings and share
contacts via the official event application.
Pre-event Workshops: This year we are kicking off the conference with
4 interactive workshops. Two on Data Science
organisation and strategy, and the second two
on more technical topics. The duration of the
workshops is 2 hours and will be led by some of the
most respected experts in this area. As they are
going in parallel, you can attend only 2 of the 4 workshops.
Code Katas room: Fashionably organized in US, Code Katas has been
a, educational and enlighten exercise for few
years. This year we are imbedding the concept in
the summit. All Katas are 10 minutes. The task is
to get a functional code that coveys a theme. The
theme is decided by the performer and reviewed
by the advisory board. The schedule is open and
due to application directly on the website or by
email to goran.cvetanovski@hyperight.com. The
application is open to everyone attending the
summit.
Demo room: On the recommendation of last year’s delegates, on
this edition, we have dedicated a room where
leading technology and service providers in the
area can demo their latest products and services.
All demos are 30 minutes, go in parallel with the
agenda, and will be transparently listed on the
event webpage, in the final agenda and the event app.
