The Nordic Data Science is an annual event bringing together the Data Science community in the Nordics to share ideas, and discuss ways to harness the full potential of Data Science, Data Engineering, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning. The agenda is suited to guide you through the process of extracting knowledge from data by using the latest methodologies, tools and algorithms. With domestic and international speakers on stage, workshops, interactive panel discussion and plenty of learning and networking activities in the exhibition
area, the 2016 summit is the place to be for all professionals and organisations working with utilizing data science, machine and deep leaning to innovate and improve their business.

PRE-EVENT WORKSHOPS: For those who would like to get
an opportunity to dive deep
into a particular topic, process,
or technology, we are setting
up some Hands-on four-hour
workshops with lunch break inbetween.
Three of the workshops
with be technical and one on
strategy and value. As they are
going in parallel you can attend
only one of the four. All workshops
are limited to 50 participants.
PANELS:
On recomendation of last year’s
delegates, on this edition we are
continuing with mixed panels
composed of practitioners and
experts. By mixing the panels,
our intent is to create a good
discussion and a contrast
between what is possible in the
area and what is actually done in
organisations today.
CAMPFIRE SESSIONS
This year we are introducing a new
discussion stage. Presenters and
a panellist with present a case
in 10 minutes and then open the
discussion with the audience. The
goal is to create honest, insightful,
and problem-solving discussions.
This year’s topic covered will be
management, strategy, and
ethics. To ensure fostering of good
discussions, the room will be limited
to 70 participants.
DEMOS: By recommendation of last year’s
delegates, on this edition, we have
dedicated time in the program
where leading technology and
service providers in the area
can demo their latest products,
services or new innovative ways
of solving old or new problems.
All demos are 30 minutes, go in
parallel with the agenda, and will
be transparently listed on the
event materials and event app.
NETWORKING PROGRAM Networking. Networking. And
More Networking. We structured
this year’s event on that way that
incentives peer-to-peer meetings
and network building. We start
on the first day with networking
mingle and night program which
will enable delegates to start the
conference main day with already
few new contacts in the room.
